From January 27 to January 30, the IPM ESSEN 2015 International Fair took place in Germany. This fair is a meeting place of the international business community of the sectors of plant growing technologies, floriculture, horticulture, decoration and floristry with a 33-year history of existence.

IPM ESSEN 2015 has set new records: 1,604 companies from 49 countries presented their innovative products and services this year; 12 separate pavilions under the exhibit; over 56,500 visitors, 40% of them are foreign guests, among them there also were Askania–Flora representatives.

Traditionally, the fair programme included floral shows, where masters demonstrated the 2015 trends. On all the days of the fair, Marcel Schulz (Germany's leading florist), Leoni Gehr (second place in the German Florist Championship) and Eva Latsch (third place in the German Florist Championship in 2014) demonstrated their skills and brought springlike inspirations to the show. Extraordinary combination of different materials and shapes fascinated the IPM ESSEN 2015 visitors.

The winners in various categories were selected among the exhibitors, which presented their new products of 2014 — 39 companies presented 69 innovations.

Both exhibitors and visitors of the event mentioned the high level of planning, organisation and exposition. The results of the fair have been summarised and now the organisers are actively preparing for the upcoming IPM ESSEN 2016.
